GWGK is an advanced hands-on course on implementing Cisco Voice Gateways and Gatekeepers in Enterprise or Service Provider environments. This course will provide you with the necessary information and practice time to prepare you to install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot Cisco Voice Gateways and Gatekeepers, and to integrate a VoIP network to both PSTN and TDM equipment, ensuring it is in accordance with the recommendations of Cisco's Solution Reference Network Design (SRND) for IP Telephony guides.
Given a voice over IP design, you will learn to select an appropriate deployment model, correctly implement the Gateways and Gatekeepers and decide how to provision the most commonly offered Service Provider or managed services application features such as SRST and DSP farms.
This course also covers the implementation of Gatekeepers and Directory Gatekeepers to provide hierarchical dial plan resolution and call admission control.
