Each student is trained utilizing live Cisco Routers, Switches, PIX Firewalls, VPN concentrators, ASA’s and VPN Hardware/Software clients during many intense lab sessions. NO SHARING OF EQUIPMENT. We also provide 24/7 access to own dedicated pod of equipment.

Introduce the Cisco® Security Appliance
Describe how to configure security appliance for secured network connectivity
Describe and configure routing and switching on a security appliance
Describe Authentication, Authorization and Accounting services on the security appliance

Tuesday:

Describe Layer 3 & 4 protocol inspection, Modular Policy Framework, and Threat Detection
Describe how to configure and verify Modular Policy Framework using ASDM
Introduce VPNs and their capabilities on the security appliance
Describe, configure and verify Security Contexts on the security appliance

Wednesday:

Describe failover options on the security appliance
Describe active/standby active/active scenarios on the security appliance
Introduce and verify configuration options for transparent firewalls on the security appliance
Learn how to monitor, manage and maintain the security appliance

Thursday A.M.:

Review Courseware and take  the SNAF 642-524

Prerequisites

Candidates MUST possess a current Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP®) certification to attend the recertification boot camp.

Exam

GlobalNet's CCSP Recertification Boot Camp students are trained on more hardware and lab time to master the following Cisco security exam:

GlobalNet Training will refund 100% of your tuition upon return of all course materials, if, by the end of the first day of class, you notify your instructor that the course, curriculum, or instructor does not meet your expectations. We further Guarantee that you will pass your exam, or we will provide you with one retake exam voucher at no charge, plus the opportunity to re-sit another available course for an administrative/facility fee of $25 per day in Dallas. Retake vouchers MUST be claimed within two weeks of completing the course. Retake voucher requests received after two weeks from the conclusion of your course will not be honored.  Please note that this guarantee is also predicated upon your keeping your cellular phone or pager on mute during class hours. You also must arrive on time to class and not leave early.

If GlobalNet Training cancels your class for any reason we will refund your course tuition in full if you are unable to reschedule to the next class session. All classes in Dallas are guaranteed to run! Many other training providers will keep re-scheduling until they have full classes. GlobalNet Training will deliver your class in Dallas - even with very low enrollment - as we realize your time is valuable.
