Prerequisites
Prior to attending CCNA, you should be very familiar with networking topics such as TCP/IP, IP configuration, peer-to-peer networking, subnetting, building a routing table, and other network protocols, standards, and architecture. If you are new to networking and to Cisco IOS, consider taking the CCENT course. We strongly encourage career changers and people new to internetworking to gain the foundation knowledge needed by taking our CCENT Bootcamp.
The GlobalNet Training CCNA Bootcamp approach works really well for most people that have networking experience, but for those people trying to become network professionals with no prior experience whatsoever, diving straight into the sometimes overwhelming and unforgiving depths of the CCNA is a pretty formidable challenge. The CCNA course and exam is not the entry level program of days past, so the new Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT) certification is a terrific introduction-it's the answer for inexperienced people who want a much more user-friendly way to break into the internetworking profession. However, the new Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT) is not a required pre-requisite for the CCNA.
We expect each student to come to the CCNA class with Internetworking knowledge. A networking fundamentals study packet will be emailed to you prior to the start of class to ensure you have a grasp of basic networking prior to entering your CCNA course. The packet will contain a practice exam along with the answers. A short exam will be delivered on the first day of the class regarding this material.
Once you have remitted payment for the course, a pre-study packet and practice test will be emailed to you. Everything you need to pass the simple pre-exam on the first day of class will be contained in this packet.

Guarantee
GlobalNet Training will refund 100% of your tuition upon return of all course materials, if, by the end of the first day of class, you notify your instructor that the course, curriculum, or instructor does not meet your expectations. Plus, we offer the opportunity to re-sit another available course at no additional charge in Dallas or for an administrative/facility fee of $100 per day at any of our other locations for up to one year following the original course date. Re-sits are granted on a space-available basis only. GlobalNet Training will only allow a free resit opportunity provided the exam number(s) do not change from the original course attended.
If you pass the simple pre-exam on the first day of the class, we will provide you one retake voucher should you require it at no additional charge. Retake vouchers MUST be claimed within two weeks of completing the course. Retake voucher requests received after two weeks from the conclusion of your course will not be honored. Please note that this guarantee is also predicated upon your keeping your cellular phone or pager on mute during class hours. You also must arrive on time to class and not leave early.
Once you have remitted payment for the course, a pre-study packet and practice test will be emailed to you. Everything you need to pass the simple pre-exam on the first day of class will be contained in this packet. You are permitted to continue in the class if you do not pass the pre-exam.
