Facility Description

The Austin computer training facility is a 1-story, free standing, red brick office building. The driveway is common with the Habitat Suites hotel.  The MicroTek Austin classroom rental center occupies its own 21,000 square foot building in a campus environment. Located 5 miles north of downtown in the heart of the Highland Mall and Lincoln Village areas, it is within minutes of 20 hotels and 40 restaurants and only 10 miles from Austin 's new Bergstrom International Airport . Transportation is also convenient with a bus depot providing bus service and a constant availability of taxis only 3 blocks away.

With 10 rooms, including 7 classrooms and 3 large meeting rooms, an 1,800 square foot lounge, and free on-site parking, it offers the ultimate teaching atmosphere. Rooms have at least one full wall of dry-erase board, zoned lighting and individual room thermostatic controls, and are connected to our T1 and DSL lines. The facility also has 11 guest phone stations, 7 computer stations, 3 private guest offices (ideal for conference calls), and wireless internet access for the students' convenience.

Directions

From Bergstrom International Airport
Turn left onto Route 71 West when leaving the Airport. Go 1.2 miles to Route 183 North (bear right). Go 2.2 miles to Airport Boulevard and continue North for 6 miles. You will see Highland Mall on your right. Highland Mall Boulevard is the first right turn after the mall. There will be a Firestone dealer and a bank on the near right corner and a Jack-in-the-Box on the far right corner. Turn right onto Highland Mall Boulevard . MicroTek Computer Labs is on the left at the bend in the road (approximately 0.3 miles).

Via Rt. 183
Exit at Lamar Boulevard . Turn West onto Lamar Boulevard (If you are traveling North, turn left. If you are traveling South, turn right.) Airport Boulevard will be on your left about a half-mile from Route 183. It is a major intersection with two lanes turning left. Highland Mall Boulevard will be on your left about a half mile after you turn. . There will be a Firestone dealer on the far left corner and a Jack-in-the-Box and a Service Merchandise on the near left corner. Turn left onto Highland Mall Boulevard . MicroTek Computer Labs is on the left at the bend in the road (approximately 0.3 miles).

From points South
Take IH-35 North to the Airport Boulevard exit. Turn left (West) onto Airport Boulevard . You will pass Highway 290 after traveling about one mile. After you pass Highway 290, you will see Highland Mall on your right. Highland Mall Boulevard is the first right turn after the mall. There will be a Firestone dealer on the near right corner and a Jack-in-the-Box and a Service Merchandise on the far right corner. Turn right onto Highland Mall Boulevard . MicroTek Computer Labs is on the left at the bend in the road (approximately 0.3 miles).

From points North
Take IH-35 South to the Rt. 2222 West exit. Turn right (West). The first light will be Airport Boulevard . Turn Right onto Airport Boulevard . You will see Highland Mall on your right. Highland Mall Boulevard is the second traffic light. There will be a Firestone dealer on the near right corner and a Jack-in-the-Box and a Service Merchandise on the far right corner. Turn right onto Highland Mall Boulevard . MicroTek Computer Labs is on the left at the bend in the road (approximately 0.3 miles).
